Michael Brüggemann is Professor of Communication Research, Climate and Science Communication at the University of Hamburg and Principal Investigator at the interdisciplinary cluster of excellence CLICCS (Climate, Climatic Change, and Society). His research explores the transformations of journalism, political and science communication from a comparative perspective. Current research focuses on the communicative construction of our future with climate change, socio-ecological transformations and discursive polarization.
